Friday, January 24, 2014 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity has been celebrated across the globe for over 100 years. It is a time when Christians of all confessions and denominations come together to join in the prayer of Christ, “That they may be one, so the world will know that you [the Father] sent me.” (John 17:21) The international theme chosen for 2014 finds its origins in 1 Corinthians 1:1-17 in which St. Paul asks, “Has Christ Been Divided?” Today, we, too, must reflect upon this same question, seeking the wisdom of God as we journey together toward the unity for which Christ prays. Join Daniel Cardinal DiNardo and other Houston judicatory leaders for this evening of prayer for Christian unity.
